How do I apply for a first OV66 ID verification?
Before applying, please check your pets microchip database to ensure the owner details are correct
In order for us to complete your pets first ID check, we need 2 pieces of paperwork:
- Our simple application form returned as a typed PDF to OV66@pettravelpass.uk
- Evidence of the current microchip database entry for your pet attached to the same email
Please title your email with your surname, first name, pet name and pet microchip number e.g. SMITH, JANE, TIDDLES, 123456789101112
Once we have received the application form and evidence of your pet's microchip database registration, we will then arrange to meet up with you and your pet at either Sherwood Business Park NG15 0EA or Giltbrook Retail Park NG16 2RP to scan your pets microchip and take a photo showing their distinguishing features and microchip number. Typically this will be on a Thursday (NG16 2RP) or Saturday morning (NG15 0EA) but please email for exact dates as this will vary depending on the time of year.
How much is an OV66 ID Verification?
We charge £90 for the first pet and £50 for each additional pet. This is payable by bank transfer
What about the RNATT declaration?
The RNATT (rabies blood test) declaration cannot be completed by the OV66 who takes the pets blood sample. We are able to complete your pets RNATT declaration via email as an independent OV66. As this service is offered remotely, our OV66 vet can assist not matter where you are based. We charge £50 for remote RNATT declarations
