What do Pet Travel Pass need to make my AHC?
We recommend applying for your AHC at least one month before travel. In order for us to complete your AHC, we need 2 pieces of paperwork:
- Our simple application form emailed as a typed PDF to hello@pettravelpass.uk
- Evidence of your pets rabies vaccine and their microchip being scanned before the vaccine was given. See below for what we accept for this. We advise getting your pet's rabies vaccine done more than 6 weeks before travel.
Once we have received the application form and evidence of your pet's rabies vaccine and microchip check, we will then arrange to meet up with you and your pet at either Sherwood Business Park NG15 0EA or Giltbrook Retail Park NG16 2RP to issue your certificate.

What counts as Evidence of Rabies Vaccination?
To make your pets Animal Health Certificate we require evidence that they have a valid rabies vaccine and evidence that their microchip was scanned before the rabies vaccine was given.
We accept the following forms of rabies vaccine evidence:
- Pet's clinical history: This is the easiest way to send all the information we require. Please email your pets history to hello@pettravelpass.uk
- Previously issued AHC: If you have a previous Animal Health Certificate and none of the owner or pet details have changed, please email photos of pages 1, 4, 8 and 10 onwards (or pages 1, 3, 5 and 7 onwards for AHCs made for travel to Ireland).
- Rabies vaccination certificate: This is a stamped and certified A4 document on headed paper with details of the rabies vaccine and stating that the pet's microchip was scanned when the vaccine was given. Please send a photo of the certificate along with your application form to hello@pettravelpass.uk
- Certified rabies vaccine card: A stamped and certified card with details of the rabies vaccine and stating that the pet's microchip was scanned when the vaccine was given. Please send a photo along with your application form to hello@pettravelpass.uk
